Paneer samosa is crunchy,cripsy ,delicious street food. Here the pastry is stuffed with paneer ,onion with some spices. If you are paneer lover then definitely you should try this one.

INGREDIENTS OF PANEER SAMOSA

FOR THE PATTI/PASTRY

  • Wheat flour or maida-2 cups 
  • Salt as per requirement
  • water to knead the dough
  • Extra flour for dusting
  • oil -2table spoon

FOR THE PANEER FILLING

  • Paneer small cube size-250gm
  • Onion-2big sliced
  • Cumin seeds-1teaspoon
  • oil-1table spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste-1tablespoon
  • Salt as per requirement
  • Turmeric powder-1/4teaspoon
  • Chili powder-1table spoon(or add 2chopped green chili)
  • Coriander powder-1table spoon
  • Tomato sauce-1table spoon (optinal)

FOR THE ‘PASTE’

  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • Oil For Deep Frying

Steps of Paneer samosa recipe:

For making Patti

  • In a mixing bowl,take wheat flour,salt, oil, mix well.
  • Make a dough by adding water.
  • Rest the dough for 1hr.
  • Heat the oil in kadhai.
  • Put cumin seeds.
  • When seeds crackle add sliced onions and saute on medium heat.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, mix well and saute for 2-3min Or till raw smell Dissapeard.
  • Now add turmeric powder,chili powder,coriander powder, mix well.
  • Add tomato sauce, salt, paneer cubes,mix well. saute over medium flame for 4-5min.
  • Your stuffing is ready to use.

For making samosa

  • Make small equal size balls using dough.
  • Roll out the small ball into a circle .cut into middle.
  • Take one part and shape into a cone.
  • Fill the cone with the stuffing and apply little water on the edges and seal it.
  • Heat sufficient oil for frying.
  • Fry the samosa in batches till golden brown from both sides.
  • Your crispy, delicious paneer samosa is ready to serve as evening snacks..
