INGREDIENTS OF RAW BANANA DAHI VADA
- For making vada-
- Raw banana- 3
- Turmeric powder-1/2teaspoon
- Chili powder-1tablespoon
- Garam masala-1tablespoon
- Oil-for frying
- Rock Salt as per taste
- Coarsly powdered peanut-1/2cup
- Barnyard millet-3table spoon For Dahi vada—
- Beaten thick yogurt or curd- ½ cup,
- Salt as per taste
- Sweet and sour chutney: 4tablespoon
- Pudina chutney-4tablespooon
- Cumin powder-½ teaspoon
- Chaat masala -2teaspoon
- Pomegranate seeds for garnishing

Preparation
Steps of Raw Banana Dahi Vada recipe:
- For tha wada, in a mixing bowl combine boiled raw banana, crushed ginger, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala,coarsely powdered peanut, salt. Mix and knead well.
- Take a small amount of dough, make small ball and flatten them gently using palm.

- In a small bowl take powdered barnyard millet and add 1table spoon water , mix well. Keep aside. (You can use bread crumbs or rava instead of millet.)
- Coat the flattened wada with the barnyard millet.

- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add the wadas /vadas and fry both sides till golden brown and crisp.
- For the Dahi chaat, In the serving bowl place the vadas.
- Pour beaten yogurt over the vadas. Garnish with chutneys, Sprinkle salt, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder .
Garnish with pomegranate seeds. Enjoy ….
