Bhindi bhurji is a simple yet tasty recipe. My family always love this bhindi bhurji. I learned this recipe from my mother.

It goes well with steamed rice or chapati .

INGREDIENTS OF BHINDI BHURJI

  • Bhindi /Lady finger – 250 gm, finely chopped
  • Onion – 1finely chopped
  • Mustard seeds-1teaspoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Garlic cloves -4-5 finely chopped
  • Oil – 2 table spoons
  • Green chili – 2finely chopped

Preparation

Steps of Bhindi bhuji recipe

  • At first clean the bhindi, dry and Finely chopped.
  • Heat 2tablespoon oil in a tava or heavy bottomed pan. Crackle the mustard seeds. Then add chopped garlic,onion,chili and saute for a minute.
  • Add finely chopped bhindi, saute for 3-4min over medium flame. Don’t cover the lid.
  • Now add salt,mix properly and fry till done over medium flame.
  • Enjoy Bhindi bharta with rice or roti.

  1. At first heat 1tbs oil in a nonstick pan or kadhai and fry aloo cubes till golden brown and Keep aside.
  2. Heat 1tablespoon oil in a kadhai or heavy bottomed pan. Put 1pinch of hing, chopped garlic, sliced onion, saute for a minute.
  3. Wash, cleaned dry ladies finger. Chop them and put in the kadhai. Add salt ,chili powder and turmeric powder after cooking for 3-4 .
  4. Now add fried potatoes,amchur powder,chat masala,cumin powder mix properly and fry till done.
