Fresh homemade makhan is prepared from churning milk cream or malai collected from milk. Churning milk cream separates butter and milk.
Makhan is the favorite dish of Lord krishna. Krishna, who is called the Makhan chor. On the occasion of janmastami I prepared makhan and offered to Lord krishna.
According to Ayurveda butter or makhan is one food that everyone should have every day.
Makhan is best served with paratha.

Health benefits of Makhan

INGREDIENTS OF MAKHAN
- Malai -2cups
- Cold water-1cup

Preparation
Steps of Makhan recipe:
- At first collect the Malai from the top of boiled milk ,when it cools. Then collect and store the malai in airtight container in the freezer. Continue the same process upto 15days.

- After 15days removed the Malai container from freezer.

- In a big bowl take malai and add 1cup of ice cold water.

- Blend it using Hand blender for 7-10min or continue until makhan and water getting separated.
- Squeeze out the water by pressing between palm and collect the makhan in a container.
- Enjoy fresh makhan with hot hot paratha, aloo paratha, makai ki roti.
