INGREDIENTS OF JANHI SANTULA

- Janhi/Ridge gourd-250gm
- Mustard Oil-1teaspoon
- Dry chili-2
- Mustard seeds-1/2teaspoon(use punch phutan)
- Onion-1medium size sliced
- Garlic cloves-3-4chopped
- Salt/luna to taste
Preparation
Steps of Janhi santula recipe:
- Wash the janhi/ridge gourd throughly .
- Remove the top and bottom tip and outer layer and cut into stripe like the picture below.

- Heat 1tbs oil a kadhai or pressure cooker.
- Put mustard seeds or punch phutan. When it starts to crackle add dry chili.

- Then add sliced onion and chopped garlic,saute for a minute.Don’t need to golden brown the onion.

- Now add janhi, salt mix properly.cook it for 10-12min over medium flame.


- Your super healthy janhi santula is ready .

- Serve janhi santula as a side dish with rice and roti
