INGREDIENTS OF CORN FRITTERS

  • Corn karnels – 2 cup
  • Rice paste/rice flour– 2tbs
  • Onion-1large(finely chopped)
  • Green chili-3-4(finely chopped)
  • Garlic clove-7-8(finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
  • Cumin powder– 1/2tsp
  • Chili powder-1tbs
  • Coriander powder-1tbs
  • Salt – As per needed
  • Oil for shallow frying

Preparation

Steps of corn fritters recipe:

1.At first coarsely ground the corn karnels and keep aside in a large bowl.

2.Add chopped onion, green chili,garlic rice paste, mix properly. For rice paste—-soak 4tbs of rice in sufficient water about 1hr.Grind it .

3.Then add turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, mix properly.

4.Heat a tawa on medium flame by adding 1tbs oil.

5.Divide the dough to small / medium equal size balls . Shapen them depending on your choice . You can do round flat disc /oval / heart shape .

6.Put them over tava. Add 1tbs oil fry till golden brown, then flip other side and fry till golden brown.

7.Your corn fritter is ready to serve enjoy with any chutney or tomato sauce. But i love to eat as a side dish with steamed rice.
