INGREDIENTS OF SOYA CHUNKS FRY
- Soya chunks -2cups
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds/jeera-1/2 tsp
- Green chili/kacha lanka-2 finely chopped
- Onion/piaja -1medium( finely chopped)
- Tomato -1medium( chopped/sliced)
- Curry leaves-4-5
- Salt /luna to taste
- Red chili powder/lanka gunda-1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder/dhania gunda-1tsp
- Cumin powder /jeera gunda-1tsp
- Turmeric powder/haladi gunda-1/4 tsp
Preparation
Steps of Soya chunks fry recipe:
- Place the soya chunks in a bowl filled with water.Boil it for 10min .

2.After 10min, the soya chunks would appear double in volume. Squeeze all the water from the soya chu

3.Heat oil in a pan and temper with cumin seeds. Saute for a few seconds.
4.Then add onion,curry leaves.Saute till light pink.
5.Then add chopped tomatoes cook it for sometime

6.Now add salt,turmeric powder,chili powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,mix properly.fry for a min.

7.Add boiled soya chunks,mix properly with masala.

8.cover and simmer for 5 minutes so that soya absorbs all masala.
9.Turn off the flame and enjoy with rice or chapati
