INGREDIENTS OF ALOO MATAR CURRY

  • Aloo/Potato -2medium size,cut into cube
  • Green peas-1/2cup
  • Oil-2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Onion, chopped-1
  • Garlic, chopped-1 tsp
  • Tomato,chopped-2
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder-1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder-1tsp
  • Garam masala -1tsp
  • Green chili,slit-1-2

Preparation

Steps of Aloo matar curry recipe:

  1. Heat oil in a pan or kadhai on medium heat. Once hot add Mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them crackled.

  2. Then add chopped onions .green chili and chopped garlic. Cook till onions are soft and light pink in color.

3.Then add chopped tomato and salt,sauté for a minute.Salt will speed up the cooking process.
