INGREDIENTS OF AJWAIN PURI
- Whole Wheat Flour -2cups
- Ajwain (Carom seeds)-2tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt as per taste
- Water as per require
Preparation
Steps of Ajwain puri recipe:
1.In a mixing bowl take all the ingredients whole wheat flour, carom seeds,salt .
2.Add sufficient water and knead to get a consistency of a stiff dough.
3.Make equal small balls and roll using a rolling pin.The thickness of the dough must not be too thin.
4.Heat oil in a Kadai with enough oil to fry the puris.
5.Then carefully slide the puris into the oil. Once it comes on top, with your ladel press the puri down so that it helps in puffing up. Then later turn the puri and cook on both the side till you get a golden brown colour.
6.Once done, take out on a kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil.
Serve your delicious Ajwain Puris with Amritsari Aloo or Black chana masala.
