Sweet Corn Gravy/Makai Ki Subzi Recipe

This is a simple Indian curry recipe prepared with sweet corn kernels in spicy and creamy tomato and onion based sauce. The taste of the sweet corn curry recipe is on a mild sweet in taste and is ideal for less spice eaters.2018-05-09-13-19-59

  • Sweet corn boiled- 2 cup
  • Cumin seeds / jeera-1 tsp
  • Mustard-1 tsp
  • Oil-2 tbsp
  • Onion -1finely chopped
  • Chili -1chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
  • Tomato- 2 finely chopped
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder -1 tsp
  • Turmeric -1 tsp
  • Coriander powder-1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water-2 cup
  • Garam masala-1 tsp
  • Curry leaves-1string
  • Kasturi methi / dry fenugreek leaves crushed-1 tsp


Steps of Sweet corn Gravy recipe:

1.Heat oil ,put cumin seeds and mustard seeds,curry leaves till spluttering .2018-05-09-12-17-00
2.Add onion,green chili and ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes away.

3. Then add all spices and salt.Saute on low flame till the spices gets cooked completely.  2018-05-09-12-22-42.jpg4.Then add chopped tomato and saute till they turn soft and mushy.

5.Add boiled sweet corn and water.

6.Stir and cook for 10 minutes.
7.Add garam masala, kasuri methi, mix well.

Serve sweet corn sabzi with roti, naan,rice.2018-05-09-13-16-17
