INGREDIENTS OF ALOO FRY
- Potato (aloo), -2 Cut into very Thin Strips/Chopped
- oil -2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
- Mustard seed-1/2 tsp
- Salt -to taste
- Turmeric Powder -½ tsp
- Chili powder-1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
- Garlic chopped-4-5
- Green chili-2chopped
- Dry chili-2
- Curry leave-1string
Preparation
Steps of Aloo Bhaja/Aloo fry recipe:
1.Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips and keep them in water.
2.Remove the potato strips from the water and lightly squeeze out any extra water. Put them in another bowl.
3.Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
4.Add mustard seeds and cumin seed ,let it crackle.
5.Add curry leave,greenchili,dry chili,garlic chopped,fry for a min.
6.Now add potato strips.
7.Put salt ,turmeric powder,chili powder,coriander powder,mix properly.
8.Fry till potaotes are evenly cooked, crisp and light brown in colour.
Aloo bhaja is ready and serve hot with chappatis/parathas/rice/Pakhal(water rice).
