Tindora/Ivy gourd is one of the healthy veggies which is very popular in south India. It is really easy to make and goes well with rice. Today I present tindora 65.

INGREDIENTS OF KUNDURU 65
- Tindora/Ivy gourd – 500 grms
- Salt – to taste
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Oil – 3 to 5 tbsp
- Gram flour – 1/2cup
- Rice Flour – 1/2 cup
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Peanuts – 1/2 cup
- Chana dal-1/4cup
- Oil for frying
For Tempering
- Curry Leaves – 5 to 7
- Green chili-3-4Slit
- Dry chili-2-3
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Garlic-3-4 cloves,crushed
- Turmeric powder-a pinch
- Chili powder-1/2tsp
Preparation
Steps of kunduru 65 recipe:
- WashTindora,cut the edges and cut the tindora lengh wise (the pieces should be medium).Let the tindora pieces dry to remove moisture.
- In a bowl add tindora pieces, Gram Flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well if required sprinkle some water.
3.Tindora pieces are ready for frying.
4.Heat oil in a kadai till the fumes are up, deep fry peanuts and chana dal in it.
5.In the same oil deep fry tindora mixture on medium flame till golden brown color on both side..
6.Once they are fried, Keep them aside.
7.Now in another pan,add 2 tbs oil,put cumin seeds,curry leaves,green chili,dry chilies,crushed garlic fry for a minute.
8.Then Add a turmeric and chili powder,fry for 2 sec.
9.Then add fried tindora,peanut,chana dal,mix properly.
Your crispy Tindora 65 is ready.Serve with Rice,Rasam or sambar.
